In the past year, Rajasthan installed 1,190 MW of decentralised solar plants under the PM-KUSUM scheme, promoting farmer-led clean energy. A total of 684 plants (1,305 MW) are now operational, mostly near grid substations. Offering power at just ₹2.09–₹3/unit, the scheme supports rural incomes and lowers discom losses.
