Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has invited bids to procure 1,000 MW of grid-connected solar power from 1–5 MW projects across Punjab. Tariffs must be below ₹3.10/kWh, followed by an e-reverse auction. The bid deadline is April 1, 2026. Selected developers will sign 25-year PPAs. Financial eligibility, EMD of ₹4 lakh/MW, and approved domestic solar modules and cells are mandatory requirements.
