Punjab State Power Corporation has invited bids to develop 500 MW/1,000 MWh of standalone battery energy storage systems in Punjab under a build-own-operate model. Projects will connect to Ablowal and Laltonkalan substations and be awarded through a 12-year BESPA. Bidding closes February 13, 2026.
