On September 10, 2026, Premier Energies signed a binding term sheet with RCT Energy India to set up a 12 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) plant in Seetharampur, Telangana. The JV entity, Premier Energies Storage Solutions Pvt Ltd (PESSPL), will be 85% owned by Premier Battery Technologies Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary, and 15% by RCT India, with an option to increase to 20%.
