The Laos Monsoon 600 MW Wind Power Project, led by POWERCHINA, successfully energized its 500 kV and two 115 kV booster stations in February, under Vietnam Electricity’s witness. Located in Sekong Province, the project faced challenges from rugged terrain and harsh weather. It’s Southeast Asia’s largest single-unit Wind Project and Asia’s first cross-border New Energy Transmission Project, delivering power from Laos to Vietnam.
