The Ministry of Heavy Industries has unveiled incentives under the PM e-Drive scheme to boost electric truck adoption in India. Covering N2 and N3 categories, incentives are capped based on battery capacity, ex-factory price, and GVW. Up to ₹9.6 lakh per e-truck is offered, supporting 5,643 trucks in FY 2024–25 with a ₹500 crore budget.
