Boralex Commissioned Limekiln 106 MW Wind Farm in Scotland

Boralex Inc. has commissioned its Limekiln Wind Farm in northern Scotland, its first UK installation, with a 106 MW capacity from 24 Vestas turbines. Supported by a 15-year Contract for Difference starting in 2028, it contributes to Boralex’s goal of a 1 GW UK Renewable portfolio by 2030. The project will power 100,000 homes, create local jobs, and fund a £500,000 annual Community Benefit Fund, promoting biodiversity and peatland restoration.
