Ampyr Australia has commenced construction on its 300MW/600MWh Wellington Stage 1 battery energy storage system (BESS), renamed the Bulabul Battery, in New South Wales. The project includes a landmark equity partnership with Wambal Bila, a Wiradjuri-led Aboriginal corporation, which now holds a 5% stake.
