Ola Electric will complete its 5 GWh lithium-ion battery cell facility by FY2025-26 to enhance vertical integration and cost efficiency. Currently producing 1.4 GWh using its advanced 4680-format Bharat Cell, Ola can support 300,000 EVs annually, scaling to 1.2 million with 5 GWh. The 4680 cell is 10% more energy-dense than current models, with version 2 under testing offering 10–15% more.
