The National Institute of Wind Power (NIWE) has estimated that Odisha has a significant wind power potential of 12,129 MW at 150 meters above ground level. Potential sites for wind projects have been identified in nine districts across the state. Odisha doesn’t have any grid connected wind power projects as of date.
