India has reached a solar PV module manufacturing capacity of 100 GW under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), up from just 2.3 GW in 2014. This growth supports India’s 2030 target of 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity. The ALMM, launched in 2019, now includes 100 manufacturers across 123 facilities.
