Odisha is advancing a ₹53.55 crore green hydrogen mobility project to introduce hydrogen fuel cell buses for sustainable public transport. Implemented by CRUT, NTPC, and GRIDCO, the project includes a hydrogen production facility at Bhubaneswar’s Pokhariput depot, producing 260 kg daily to support three pilot buses.
