Swedish green hydrogen technology firm Metacon AB has entered the Moroccan market, securing a contract to supply a 1 MW pressurized alkaline electrolysis pilot plant to a major renewable energy company. The €1.82 million turnkey project will integrate wind power with hydrogen production, serving as a technical refinement platform for future large-scale green hydrogen, e-fuels, and ammonia plants in Morocco.
