NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has invited domestic competitive bids for a 1,100 MW/3,300 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) EPC package at the NTPC REL Khavda Solar Plant in Gujarat under IFB No. NGEL-CS-5779-004(BESS1R)-9, issued on 23 September 2026. The turnkey project comprises four blocks with 15 years of O&M and a 25-year design life.
