Surat-based Navitas Solar will invest Rs 10,000 crore over five years to expand across the renewable value chain in Gujarat and Maharashtra. The plan covers upstream integration into solar cells, ingots, wafers and downstream battery storage and power generation. A 2.4 GW cell plant at Sisodara, Gujarat - Phase I Rs 1,200 crore - targets July 2027 operation, with pilot ingot/wafer lines underway.
