Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL), a joint venture of NTPC and the Jharkhand government, announced the successful light-up of its first boiler unit. This milestone is a key step toward generating power. The plant's first phase will include three 800MW units, with the initial one expected by October.
