NPCIL has invited bids for engineering consultancy and 3D modelling of 220 MW Bharat Small Reactors (BSRs), focusing on civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, and design activities. BSRs are pressurized heavy water reactors designed for captive industrial power needs, supporting decarbonisation in sectors like steel and aluminium.
