NTPC plans its largest-ever investment of ₹16.68 lakh crore over the next 11 years to transform into a diversified clean energy company. The utility aims to expand generation capacity to 250 GW by 2037, including 136 GW renewable energy capacity and 30 GW nuclear power by 2047. Investment will be deployed in phases, with major spending on renewables during FY28-FY32 and nuclear expansion thereafter.
