IndiGrid has commissioned a 180 MW/360 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Gujarat, developed jointly with EnerGrid and backed by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) as the off-taker. It is among India’s largest single-site utility-scale BESS installations, aimed at improving grid stability and renewable energy integration.
