NLC India Limited signed a EUR 100 million loan agreement with KfW Germany at its Delhi office to fund solar and battery energy storage projects. The financing will strengthen NLC’s renewable portfolio, improve grid reliability, and support India’s clean energy transition. With plans to reach 8 GW by 2028 and 10 GW by 2030, NLC is rapidly expanding capacity, targeting around 2 GW soon, including a 2 GW joint venture project in Rajasthan.
