Evren, a joint venture of Brookfield India and Axis Energy, has secured $600 million to develop a 1 GW FDRE hybrid renewable project in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. The project combines solar, wind, and battery storage to deliver reliable power and has a 300 MW PPA with NTPC. Expected to be commissioned by 2027, it will generate around 2,400 GWh annually and reduce over 1.
