NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has formed a Joint Venture with NREDCAP for Renewable Energy Projects worth ₹1,87,000 crore, aiming to generate 1,06,250 jobs and ₹20,620 crore in benefits over 25 years. The initiative, supported by Andhra Pradesh’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy-2024, includes 25 GW of Renewable Energy, Green Hydrogen production, and 10 GW of Pump Hydro Projects.
