During CY'2024 - Tesla, BYD, Volkswagen, Ford & Hyundai recorded highest sales of fully electric cars in NewZealand. Tesla registered a sale of 1287 units followed by BYD at 686 units. While Volkswagen recorded 506 units sales, the share of Ford & Hyundai hovers around 469 & 419 units respectively.
