The government of India has sanctioned INR 687 crore for the implementation of power distribution in Ladakh under RDSS. The RDSS Scheme has the goal of enhancing operational efficiencies and financial sustainability. It provides result-linked financial support to DISCOMs to improve their supply Infrastructure, subject to meeting pre-qualifying criteria and achieving basic minimum benchmarks.
