The Dutch government has allocated €1 billion to support 2GW of offshore wind capacity in 2025, aiming to address rising costs and sluggish sector growth. An additional €150 million will extend a scheme to make electricity prices more competitive through 2028. Long-term plans include introducing Contracts for Difference and a guarantee fund to secure power contracts.
