Coal India Limited has commissioned a 100 MW solar power project in Gujarat, marking progress in its renewable energy expansion. The project received approval from Gujarat Energy Development Agency. This milestone supports Coal India’s goal of increasing solar capacity and transitioning toward a net-zero energy entity, amid earlier delays in achieving its 3,000 MW solar target and ongoing efforts to accelerate clean energy deployment.
