The French independent power producer Neoen has completed stage one of the 219MW/877MWh Collie Battery Energy Storage System in Western Australia. The installed capacity is the part of the state-owned wider 500MW/2000MWh Collie project. The four hour duration BESS is now successfully operational and will be connected to the South West Interconnected System (SWIS).
