Nel is collaborating with General Motors to lower the expense of hydrogen. They recently revealed their intention to establish a new factory in Michigan, which is estimated to be worth $350m. The plant will produce electrolyzers in the Detroit area to supply 4 GW of hydrogen annually. Nel is also planning to double the capacity of its 500MW manufacturing plant in Herøya, Norway.
