MSEDCL has initiated a two-stage bidding process to procure 1,000 MW of electricity. The first stage involves pre-qualifying bidders via an e-Tender system. Shortlisted bidders enter the second stage, including a tariff-based competition and e-Reverse Auction. A ₹5 lakh per MW bid security is required.
