MPERC has adopted tariffs of ₹3.98/kWh to ₹4.17/kWh (∼$0.041-$0.043) for 800 MW wind power projects, following competitive bidding. The regulatory approval provides certainty for developers and EPC contractors to achieve financial closure and proceed with execution in Madhya Pradesh. It clears a key hurdle for scaling wind infrastructure and meeting the state's renewable purchase obligations (RPO).
