MNRE: Revised Guidelines for Installation of prototype Wind Turbine Models

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has amended the Revised Guidelines for Installation of Prototype Wind Turbine Models issued on June 12, 2025. Under the revised provisions, up to three prototype wind turbines per model can be synchronized or commissioned, and the electricity generated may be purchased by DISCOMs or other entities at mutually agreed tariffs or tariffs determined under CERC/SERC regulations.
