MNRE has invited proposals under its Renewable Energy Research and Technology Development programme to accelerate Concentrated Solar Thermal technologies for industrial heating, offering up to 50% capital support capped at Rs 2 crore per project. The initiative promotes CST systems like parabolic trough, linear Fresnel, parabolic dish, power towers and PV-heat pump hybrids, integrated with thermal energy storage for continuous process heat.
