The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has clarified that government and public sector captive Solar Projects must use Solar Modules listed under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). This ensures compliance with domestic manufacturing norms and protects local manufacturers from cheap imports.
