The MHI states that acc. to Vahan Portal of MoRTH, total EV registered till 04.12.2024 in two and three wheelers category is 28,55,015 and 2,57,169 respectively which accounts for 1.01% and 0.32% adoption rates. Currently, there are 4 automotive R&D centers in India i.e., ARAI - Pune, ICAT - Manesar, GARC - Chennai and NATRAX - Indore and as of now, ministry doesn’t plan any new cluster in Odisha.
