TP Solar Achieves 4 GW Milestone in Tamil Nadu

TP Solar, Tata Power’s Solar manufacturing arm, has surpassed 4 GW of Solar Module production at its Tamil Nadu plant, reaching 4,049 MW in modules and 1,441 MW in cells by May 31, 2025. With a 4.3 GW capacity, it aims to produce 3.7 GW of cells and 3.725 GW of modules in FY26. The plant supports India’s 2030 clean energy goals, emphasizes domestic content, uses AI-driven tech, and employs a women-majority workforce under eco-friendly operations.
