Masdar and Indonesia’s PLN have partnered to develop Floating Solar Projects, starting with a plant at Jatigede Dam, set for 2025–2027. They aim to expand the 145MWac Cirata project, which powers 50,000 homes. These efforts support Indonesia’s net-zero goal by 2050. Masdar, now active in 40+ countries, has grown its Renewable portfolio from 20GW in 2022 to 51GW by 2024, targeting 100GW and Green Hydrogen Production by 2030.
