Maruti Suzuki Invests ₹925 crore to expand Solar and Biogas Capacity in India

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd plans to invest ₹925 crore by FY2030-31 to expand its renewable energy and industrial decarbonization initiatives. The strategy includes scaling solar capacity to 319 MWp and developing biogas infrastructure at its Kharkhoda and Manesar facilities. A new 10-tonnes-per-day biogas plant will convert organic waste into renewable fuel, supporting circular economy goals.
