Macquarie and RPSG have emerged as final bidders for Welspun New Energy, with the deal potentially valuing WNEL at ₹2,000 crore. The company operates 45 MW and has a 245 MW wind-solar hybrid project under construction, alongside a 700 MW renewable-plus-storage pipeline. WNEL also plans green hydrogen and ammonia projects, targeting 5 GW renewable capacity and 2 MTPA green derivatives by 2030.
