Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh have signed an MoU to cooperate on procuring 2,000 MW of peak power through competitive bidding. The partnership will leverage their different seasonal demand patterns, with MP’s peak demand typically occurring from October to March and UP’s from April to September.
