LONGi has achieved a world-record silicon solar cell efficiency of 28.13% using its HIBC technology, surpassing recent benchmarks set by competitors. The result was independently verified by Institute for Solar Energy Research Hamelin. The company also reported 26.4% efficiency for HIBC modules certified by National Renewable Energy Laboratory, highlighting strong progress toward scalable, high-efficiency solar technologies and potential advancements in mass production capabilities.
