Bihar has approved amendments to its EV policy targeting at least 30% of all new vehicle sales to be electric by 2030. The cabinet, chaired by CM Samrat Choudhary, will provide DBT-based incentives for EV purchases, including commercial goods vehicles, women-focused two-wheelers, and four-wheelers, alongside funding EV charging infrastructure and seeking support under the PM E-DRIVE scheme.
