Lohum Cleantech Pvt. Ltd. has announced plans to invest $100 million in CAPEX to expand its second-life battery recycling operations. The company focuses on recycling lithium-ion batteries from electric vehicles (EVs) and other sources. The objective is to increase recycling capacity to 1 gigawatt (GW) and repurpose 300 megawatt (MW) of EV batteries for stationary energy storage applications.
