Norwegian Energy firm Equinor has secured a provisional Offshore Wind Energy lease from BOEM for 101,443 acres off Delaware, bidding $75 million. The project, set to generate 2 GW of Power for nearly 900,000 homes, aligns with U.S. Renewable Energy goals. Equinor aims to develop this lease by 2035, while Delaware advances Clean Energy legislation.
