Ignitis Group has approved three large battery storage projects in Lithuania, totaling 291MW output and 582MWh capacity, with construction starting this year. Rolls Royce Solutions will supply equipment, aiming for 2027 commercial operation. The €130 million investment seeks EU state aid, capped at €102 million and 500MWh per entity, supporting Lithuania’s energy transition.
