JSW Energy’s subsidiary, JSW Renew Energy Thirty Seven, signed a 12-year battery energy storage purchase agreement with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam for a 250 MW/500 MWh standalone battery system. The projects, based in Rajasthan, will follow a build, own, and operate model with a tariff of Rs 2,24,000 per MW per month, supported by viability gap funding.
