Denmark incorporated LionLink, the first direct-current hybrid interconnector, into the country's Offshore Wind Energy Development Framework. LionLink will link the Nederwiek 3 offshore wind farm to both Dutch and UK grids. TenneT, in partnership with UK's National Grid Ventures, will invest in the project, pending further market design decisions and new EU-UK arrangements.
