The proposed Tariff agreement of Gujarat BESS is rejected by CERC due to misalignment of tariff with the current market prices. Through this rejection, CERC aimed at adhering to the timelines & ensuring the fair prices. The project auction was held on 25 August,2022 but LoA was delayed by 145 days. The GUVNL got it after 160 days and further delay 245 days.
