The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission’s draft 2025 regulations propose higher feed-in tariffs for prosumers installing Energy Storage Systems (ESS) with Renewable Energy (RE) plants, especially for energy fed to the grid during peak hours. ESS must be at least 20–30% of the plant’s capacity.
