Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) are set to launch Kerala's first hydrogen-fuelled bus. A prototype was showcased at the Global Hydrogen & Renewable Energy Summit in Kochi on March 12 and 13. The green hydrogen plant and fuelling station near the airport are 70% complete, with plans to deploy the bus for airport connectivity once operational.
