JSW Energy acquired Tidong Power for ₹1,728 crore, adding a 150 MW hydro project in Himachal Pradesh, commissioning October 2026. The project, with a long-term 75 MW PPA and remaining capacity for merchant sales, strengthens JSW’s hydro portfolio as its fourth Himachal asset. Expected to boost EBITDA from FY27, the acquisition complements nearby Karcham Wangtoo operations.
